It’s renewal time again!  

We know our leaders have questions or maybe receiving questions from parents and other adult volunteers on how this the renewal process will work this year.

To help answer any questions that may come up, we have the Unit Renewal Guide and the Individual Membership Renewal Guide and other helps for these process. Please note, Unit Renewal and Individual Renewals are separate procedures this year.

Hard copies of these materials were handed to each unit attending the new October Council Quarterly Roundtables.  Please note, the new Council Quarterly Roundtables are packed with important information units need to know.  It does not have to be the Cubmaster or Scoutmaster that attends, any adult leader or parent can come and represent your unit and take back the information that is handed out and discussed. Council Quarterly Roundtables will be held in January, April, July and October each year. CLICK HERE for more information on the January Quarterly Roundtable that will cover all Summer 2025 Scouts BSA and Cub Scouting information. 

QUESTIONS: If you have any questions on renewal, please reach out to your Unit Commissioner, District Commissioners or District Executive for help. These are the individuals responsible to assist unit leaders in the Renewal process. We ask you not call the council office.

Remember the Council deadline for renewal this year is December 1, 2024.

Please be sure everyone of your Scouting families and leaders have updated email addresses, as this is the only method national Scouting is using to contact everyone about Unit Renewals and Individual Membership Renewals. Individuals can update their own emails addresses in their My.Scouting.org profile.
